Server & Forum Rules - Cali-Life Roleplay - 10-17-2023 ROLEPLAY
Roleplay Conduct:
1. Random Vehicle Death Match (RVDM) - Using your vehicle as a weapon without a valid roleplay reason is considered RVDM. 2. Random Death Match (RDM) - Attacking another player without quality roleplay is considered RDM. Mass RDM results in a permanent ban. 3. Baiting - Creating situations to provoke chases or firefights is not allowed. 4. Spam - Avoid spamming in OOC chat, /me, or Tweedle. 5. Powergaming - Avoid forcing scenarios where you always win. Unrealistic actions are not allowed. 6. Being In Character - Keep in-character issues separate from real life. Do not mix them. 7. Community Leaders - High-ranking players should lead quality storylines and roleplay to a higher standard. Character and Roleplay: 8. Fail Driving - Unrealistic driving is prohibited. 9. Microphone - Microphones are required. 10. Language - Communicate in English, and consider others may not understand other languages. 11. Roleplay Everything - Remain in character unless authorized by an admin. 12. Value of Life - Comply with demands when at a disadvantage. 13. OOC Help - OOC chat is for help only. 14. OOC Roleplay - Do not use OOC chat to broadcast events you observe. 15. Communication Devices - Do not use external methods when your devices are taken in-game. 16. Transferring Money - Do not transfer money or items between your own characters. 17. Inactivity - Inactive players may lose ownership of buildings. 18. Consent for Sensitive Roleplay - Consent is required for sensitive roleplay situations. 19. OOC Information - Avoid using out-of-character information to influence roleplay. 20. Name Tags / Collar Numbers - Do not identify players via name tags or session ID. 21. Hot Mic - Use hot mic when discussing relevant in-game information. 22. OOC Tweets - Twitter app usage is considered in-character. 23. Character Separation - Avoid using information from one character to influence another. Respawn Rules: 24. Respawn Rules - Specific rules apply when you respawn. Injuries and Medical Roleplay: 25. Injuries and Revival - Roleplay injuries and medical treatment when downed or revived. Character Creation: 26. Character Names - Use valid names, avoiding well-known names. 27. Believable Character Roles - Ensure your character's actions align with their backstory. 28. Character Death - Characters can permanently die with mutual agreement. Group and Faction Rules: 29. Mass Murder - Repeatedly creating mass-murdering characters may result in a ban. 30. Group Names - Realistic names for businesses, gangs, and groups. 31. Wanted Level - Committing crimes increases police attention. 32. Character Growth - Characters should grow over time. Emergency Services Rules: 33. Emergency Buildings - Loitering around emergency buildings without roleplay is not allowed. 34. Hostages - High-quality roleplay is required for hostage scenarios. 35. Fake Hostages - Willing participants should not be used as hostages. 36. Executions - Executions must be realistic and roleplayed with high quality. 37. Using In-Game Phone - Do not use the phone to warn police. 38. Police Sirens - Police using sirens do not initiate RP. 39. Spike Strips - Use of spike strips must be accompanied by quality roleplay. 40. Character Limits - You may only have one character in a gang or legal profession at a time. 41. Police Equipment - Police cannot sell or give away their equipment without strong roleplay reasons. 42. No Abuse of Police Role - Do not abuse your role as a cop to help friends. 43. Police Station Attacks - The 15-minute NLR does not apply to police stations. 44. Police Corruption - Roleplaying police corruption is generally not allowed. 45. Medic and Firefighter Rules - Similar rules apply to medics and firefighters as police. 46. Combat Reviving - Combat areas are not safe for revival. 47. Emergency Vehicles - Taking NHS/Fire vehicles requires consent. 48. No Boosting or Exploiting - Any type of boosting or exploiting results in a ban. 1. Welcome and Purpose:
Cali-Life Roleplay has a comprehensive set of rules to maintain high-quality roleplay. Take the time to read and absorb them for an enjoyable experience. 2. Temporary Bans: Temporary bans have been introduced, ranging from 24 hours to 1 week, reducing administrative work for staff before moving to permanent bans. 3. Serious Roleplay: Cali-Life Roleplay focuses on roleplay (RP) rather than combat, making it a different experience from other communities. 4. Respect and Friendliness: This community expects respect among users, both in-game and outside. Conflicts should stay within the server and not extend into real life. 5. Recording Gameplay: Recording your gameplay is recommended to assist in enforcing the rules effectively. 6. Official Rules: These are the official rules. Follow them unless instructed differently by the management team. 7. Fair Bans: The ban system now includes timed bans and permanent bans for specific offenses. 8. Ban Lengths: - 1st Ban: 24 hours - 2nd Ban: 48 hours - 3rd Ban: 1 week - 4th Ban: Permanent Ban (Requires Appeal) 9. Ban Reset: Bans reset every six months from the last ban, but staff may use discretion for rule violations. 10. Age Restriction: Roleplay UK is an adult community, and players under 18 on the FiveM server may be banned. 11. Respect and Maturity: Users are expected to act maturely and treat others with respect, creating a pleasant environment. 12. Drama and Arguments: Drama or out-of-character arguments are discouraged and may result in bans. 13. Community Rules: - Bullying - Permanent Ban: Bullying is not tolerated. - Discrimination - Permanent Ban: Expressing discriminatory or offensive views is forbidden. - OOC Abuse: Swearing at someone outside of roleplay with malicious intent is not allowed. - Threats and Harassment - Permanent Ban: Any threats or harassment are taken seriously. - Infrastructure Disruption - Permanent Ban: Any attempts to harm or disrupt the community's infrastructure are not tolerated. - Community Ban - Permanent Ban: Disruptive members can be removed from the community. - Common Sense: Some situations may not be detailed in the rules; common sense is vital. - Forcing or Encouraging Rule Breaks - Age Restrictions: Providing false age to join a faction is prohibited. - Trolling - Permanent Ban: Various forms of trolling are discouraged. - Trading - Permanent Ban: Real-life to in-game trading is not allowed. - Sensitive Roleplay - Permanent Ban: Continuing sensitive roleplay after a player's request to stop is not allowed. - Idling: If away for more than 5 minutes, kindly disconnect from the game servers. - Threats to report / Disputes / Breaking RP in Voice: Disputes should not be discussed in-game. - Ban evasion is not allowed. 14. Cheating: - Game Modification - Permanent Ban: Modifying the game's functionality is not allowed. - Exploiting - Permanent Ban: Using or attempting to use any exploits is forbidden. - Combat logging - Permanent Ban: Logging out during RP is considered exploiting. - Combat storing: Storing vehicles to gain advantages. - Teleporting: Exploiting the garage system for teleportation. 15. Advertising Rules: Strict rules regarding advertising on the server/website/teamspeak or social media groups. 16. Discord Rules: - Common Sense: Common sense should guide interactions. - Voice Changers & Soundboards: Usage in public rooms, including NHS/Police, is discouraged. - Music Usage: Music should be played in appropriate rooms only. - Offensive Avatars: Offensive avatars are not allowed. - Imitation: Impersonating other members is punishable. 17. Forum Rules: - Common Sense: Common sense rules interactions on the forum. - Using a Questionable Avatar or Name - Causing Drama: Creating threads to cause issues or drama is not allowed. - Commenting on Reports: Commenting on report threads that do not involve you is discouraged. - Commenting on Ban Appeals: Commenting on ban appeals that do not involve you is discouraged. - Using status updates or non-member support forums to talk about bans. 18. Staff Rules: - Staff Decisions are Final. - Respect Staff Members - Permanent Ban: Abuse or unpleasant behavior toward staff is not acceptable. - Private Communication with Staff: Contacting staff members should only occur upon invitation. - Abuse of a Staff Position - Staff Actions - No Teleport/Item Spawn - Bribes to Staff is not tolerated - Confidential Information - Rules Apply to All Staff Members |
